For the next week or so I’ll keep posting photos that were taken in the last couple days of 2010 but didn’t make it to the blog before 2011 because of how backlogged I was.
Over winter break I decided to drive up to Forest Grove to visit Maddy Duyck. No big deal I thought, its pretty much just a straight drive up from Corvallis on Highway 99.
Yeah, well maybe if you pay attention to you’re directions. Which I didn’t. Pshh.
I ended up in Newberg and then Springfield on the way up, which is, well, definitley not a short cut. On the way back I thought I’d be fine since I got lost once and learned from my mistakes. Not true. I got LOSTER. As in WAY more lost. I ended up in Lincoln City. Yeah thats on the coast. And for of you who don’t know, Corvallis is NOT on the coast. Wow.
Oh well, at least I got to see a lot of Oregon and jam out to my iPod for….. about 6 EXTRA hours of driving. hahaha life is good.

OMG Nathan! Too hilarious!! I was just talking on the phone with Grandma and she asked if I’d seen your blog today. She said I HAD to check it out (ok my words), since it was so funny. I totally cracked up at your pic that says “ummm that’s the beach”. You’re right, you got to see lot’s of Oregon and the ocean, all in one adventure! L, AJ
